A Friendly Face You Never Forget
At AEM, we are proud to celebrate the individuals who bring warmth, personality, and connection to our community—and Everette is a perfect example of that spirit. Known for his friendly and welcoming nature, Everette has a way of making everyone feel seen and remembered. One of his most impressive qualities is his ability to recall names and faces—if you’ve met him once, you can count on being greeted like a longtime friend the next time around.
Everette naturally builds connections with those around him, and his positive energy creates an environment where people feel comfortable, included, and valued. His presence truly reflects the heart behind AEM’s mission.
Hobbies, Favorites, and Team Spirit
Outside of his daily interactions, Everette enjoys a variety of activities that keep him entertained and engaged. He’s a fan of golf, enjoys playing video games, and loves spending time watching movies—especially his favorite, Batman. When it comes to sports, Everette proudly represents his roots as a Hampton High School Crabber and also cheers on the Denver Broncos in the NFL.
When it’s time to relax and enjoy a good meal, Everette keeps things classic. He loves chicken from his favorite restaurant, Bubba’s, paired with a cold Pepsi. And if there’s one color that matches his bold personality, it’s red—his clear favorite.

Always Ready to Lend a Hand
Everette is not only personable—he’s also incredibly helpful. He enjoys supporting staff and assisting his peers whenever he can, often stepping in without being asked. Whether it’s helping with small tasks or simply offering encouragement, Everette plays an important role in creating a supportive and uplifting environment.
His willingness to help others doesn’t go unnoticed. It’s a big part of what makes him such a valued member of the AEM community and a great example of teamwork and kindness in action.
Keeping Things Fun: The “Neighborhood Watch”
Of course, no spotlight on Everette would be complete without mentioning his fun-loving and humorous side. Everette enjoys staying in the know and keeping an eye on what’s going on around him—earning him the unofficial (and self-proclaimed) title of “neighborhood watch.”
His curiosity and lighthearted personality bring laughter and joy to those around him. Whether he’s sharing observations or just being playfully “nosey,” Everette has a way of turning everyday moments into something memorable.

Our Village
Spring into Action!
This spring, AEM was proud to host a special Easter event designed to create a meaningful and engaging experience for the individuals we serve. The event provided an opportunity for everyone to come together in a warm, welcoming environment filled with fun, creativity, and fellowship.
Throughout the day, individuals participated in a variety of interactive games and activities, including basketball, Jenga, and Uno, which encouraged friendly competition, teamwork, and social connection. A highlight of the event was the opportunity for participants to decorate their own personalized baskets in preparation for the Easter egg hunt, allowing each person to express their creativity while building excitement for the celebration.
In addition to the games and basket decorating, attendees also enjoyed movies, food, and time spent together in community. The event was not only a celebration of the season, but also a chance to foster joy, inclusion, and connection among the individuals and families we support.
Our Easter event reflected AEM’s ongoing commitment to creating enriching experiences that bring people together and promote a sense of belonging. We are grateful for the opportunity to continue hosting events that create lasting memories and meaningful moments for those we serve.
